From the 8/7 - 31/9 I'm really happy to tell you I will be Artist In Residence at Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) in Dublin. I will also do soloshows at the IMMA and Borris House, both in ireland and a small solo at La Tangente in Marseille in september. My book "The Violence" recieved two second prizes in Denmark, Circle design awards for best printed matter 2008 and Association for book works 2009 prize for best bookwork. Thank you Denmark! it was released on the norwegian publisher NoCube in collaboration with danish agency re-public (if you're interested in ordering it, send me a mail). A second book is in production, The Permanent daylight project, hopefully released during the winter 2009. My series of solo exhibitions called Permanent daylight was completed at Kristinehamn Museum of Art (4/4 - 10/5) . Earlier parts in the Permanent daylight series took place at Pool gallery (Berlin), Ystad Museum of Art (which very kindly has been sponsored by stadsmissionen.nu), Nordin gallery (Stockholm), Växjö Konsthall (28/2-22/3) and Aarhus Centre for Contemporary Art (27/3- 26/4).
Other shows this summer is a group show at Dunkers kulturhus (29/5-27/9) in Helsingborg, OpenArt in Örebro (opens 12/6) and Alma Löv Museum (opens 6/6).
I have been invited to be guest curator 2010 at Rogaland Center of Art in Stavanger, giving me the opportunity to curate three shows throughout the year.
In the last months I am also part of two books released on german publisher Die Gestalten; Spacecraft 2 and Beyond Architecture. Earlier I have been part of the Die Gestalten book Tactile. A bunch of my drawings are featured in the spring issue of norwegian literary magazine Vagant.
For those of you who can read swedish, there is an extensive article on me & my work in the september 08 issue of Konstvärlden/Disajn. I have been a awarded the Swedish arts council two year work grant.
A new collection of t-shirts has been released in collaboration with the fashion label Svensson and can be found on www.svenssonshop.com. I have also been working on what will become the part of the spring collection 09 for the label SKFK. I have got some mixtapes on the web radio Omeo (www.vidner.com/omeo).
my revenge competitionhas been settled, the one-of-a-kind Jonas t-shirt was won by none other than Isak Jay from Trinidad! Another strange and funny release is a coffee I have developed and designed together with kafferosteriet, which sold-out a limited edition of 500 bags (www.lillakaffesrosteriet.se).
