Finally my book "The Violence" has been released on the norwegian publisher NoCube in collaboration with danish agency re-public. It was released in connection with my solo-show at Pool Gallery in Berlin on the 18/9. The first swedish release took place at Malmö Konsthall on the 27/9 and in Oslo at Torpedo
on the 9/10. I also solo-shows at Ystad Museum of Art 25/10 (which very kindly has been sponsored by stadsmissionen.nu), at Nordin Gallery in Stockholm (11/12), at Växjö Konsthall and at Kristinehamn Museum of Art (both in spring 2009) in connection with the release of The Violence. Release party for the book at ADN gallery in Barcelona on the 30/10. Im happy to tell you I have recieved an invitation to be artist in residence at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) in Dublin for some months in 2009. I will also take part in The Helsinki Biennale 2008 in Finland.
For those of you who can read swedish, there is an extensive article on me & my work in this months issue of Konstvärlden/Disajn. This month I have been a awarded the Swedish arts council two year work grant and Im joined by my intern Nonoko Fuji for the next few weeks, who helped out with Berlinshows and bookreleases.
August I spent in the deep heart of sweden, on a 16th century farm waaay out in the countryside in Bingsjö, together with painter Magnus Thoren. I have been working on my book as well as the Berlin show and Magnus working on shows in Münich and Oslo, and Bingsjö is a fine place to do it, swedish summer style.
I have started to work long term with Thomas Wallner Gallery and I took part of a show that opened at the gallery on the 31 of may. As a nice bonus, Sweet Fred offered me one of the rooms of his club The Rumble for the afterparty. Together with artist Trond Hugo Haugen I built a wonky decor and Pablo Maffi who usually plays Ohm/Powder room/Sonar/ Scanner FM from Barcelona flew in to play in the glorious sweaty mess that this club is.
I will show at Aarhus Kunstbyggning in Denmark in march 2009 and at Växjö Konsthall in Sweden sometime during 2009 .In collaboration with Louise Andersson, a fantastic landscape-architect, I run the agency Jolian&Luft (www.jolianluft.com) our most recent project was at the Skankaloss festival in Gagnef in july, check it out under recently. There is a new collection of t-shirts coming up in collaboration with the fashion label Svensson, they should be out this winter and can be found on www.svenssonshop.com. I have also been working on what will become the part of the spring collection 09 for the label SKFK. I have got some mixtapes on the web radio Omeo (www.vidner.com/omeo).The touring exhibiton Im part of that is curated by The Natural World Museum has been shown at Nobel Peace Center in Oslo and Brussels Palace of fine Arts (BOZAR), next up is the Field Museum in Chicago.

With great pride I can tell you I am part of the book Tactile on the german publishing house Die Gestalten
and will be part of another two books from Die Gestalten in early 2009. Im also participating in the first issue of mexican drawing publication Sold.Another strange and funny release is a coffee I have developed and designed together with kafferosteriet, which sold-out a limited edition of 500 bags (www.lillakaffesrosteriet.se). I finished off my years as chairman and member of the artist-run gallery/studio space CC with our part-taking at Supermarket, one of the two art-fairs in Stockholm.
